The Champions League Final between Chelsea and Manchester United has ended. And I'm kinda suffering the hangover now -.-
Well I watched the match from a neutral point of view, so it's like when both sides attacked it was exciting rather than the heartattack-nervous feeing. After FT it was 1-1, with yayapapaya Ronaldo heading in his 41st goal of the season and Lampard smashing home the equalizer. It got tantalizing to the end because Chelsea found their strength and was threatening to finish it in extra time whilst Manchester United just parked 10 men behind the ball. Okay I admit to some bias on my part because Manu fans are damn haolian and I bet they'll all come running to me saying they won the Double. (no joey i'm not referring to you lol) Anyway it got to penalties, and I braced myself to watch the whole thing through. In case you don't already know, penalty kicks were almost banned because they were said to cause heart attacks (seriously), you know those fans who are more emotional than the manager himself will just faint when the person misses -.-
It is now 2-2, with the first four players sending the 'keeper the wrong way. The crowd jeers like nuts as C.Ronaldo steps up to take the 3rd penalty for Manu. He places the ball in the most guailan position and takes a deep breath. With the referee's whistle, he takes a step and stop, and takes a step and stop, then he found out that Cech wasn't scammed, so he just rammed but he lost his momentum and Cech saved it. This is when you see my whole estate coming to life, (including myself) shouting out of the balcony so that everybody can hear us celebrating lolz. Everything was looking good as Kalou slotted home the 4th penalty. It was then 4-3 and if Terry converted the last penalty, Chelsea would win the coveted trophy for the first time in their history.
Okay this paragraph is the reason why I blogged. I know you feel scammed after reading two long paragraphs but too bad lol -.- So Terry stroded to the penalty box, and the atmosphere was tense. Possessing the captain's armband, this was the time when their team leader shone, and brought their team to glory. You could see the desire in his eyes, and the passion to do it for the team. Ball is placed on the spot. As he gains momentum in his run, his eyes fixed on the ball, he takes the shot. Everyone waits with bated breath. Edwin vandersar dives the wrong way, and half the battle is won. But before I could scream, I saw the ball hit the post squarely and out. Terry misses. Ok i skip everything because at this point I'm damn sian and I don't feel like elaborating on how the devils won. Just know they did -.- Anyway, if he'd scored, then I would see the Manu fans disappointed faces, the rejoice of a hard-earned victory for the Blues, and of course the most satisfying C.Ronaldo's dejected face. Because of a slip-up, he went unpunished and he can still maintain the act-cool face. Damnit, boo. I really feel for Terry even when I'm not a Chelsea fan, cos he really gains respect unlike the Fifa Footballer of the Year. Catch him next with the England friendlies cos England didn't make it to Euro2008 lol. Player to watch (Y)
You should have inferred that I didn't sleep the whole night (come on people SS rocks and it doesn't stand for SuperSian) Coffee works and I'm damn high now lol. Term's coming to an end and 4A's changing seats, no particular comments. I hope I'll be able to push myself to study, it's like 3 major exams up next so if I don't, ... Match with secthrees was a stroll in the park, 7-0 to Cage but I gotta say it's tough playing the first time and they have quality, so I believe it'll be a better fight the next time round. I like Cage because we're professional and we don't suan/tekan the other team when we trash them (like some team zzz lol)
And now I'm going to school Internetically and I really hope that the system
doesn't crash LOL.
I will take the initiative.
