This post will solely be on an event that totally humoured me today. It's called Chinese with SK. Well I was mugging with Janice, Hexian and SK today when we decided to have some fun with Chinese. It was 8pm and I'm roflmao-ing away. It starts when SK points to his sauce and say "The way I eat my sauce is damn
nuan." Enjoy.
P.S. Janice is also known as Legend. She's a celebrated Chinese god so everything she said is translated into English as we're a multi-racial country so people of all races can also enjoy.
Legend: SK STOP SAYING NUAN IT'S LUAN (乱)
SK: No it's nuan you wanna bet I write it out for you
Legend: Ok la write for me to see
SK: *scribbles on Macdonald's free tissue paper* (舌几)
Legend: *wtf face* got what link?!?!
SK: there there, can you see the right side?
Legend: ???
SK: You see, Luan has a L (乱), so Nuan has a N (几) for the right hand side, that's why it's L uan a
nd N uan. Get it?
- Legend shows signs of falling, but gets back on her feet and shows us why she's hailed as the Legend -
Legend: Ok la then tell me why Che is written as 車 last time but 车 now?
SK: *hides his stun face* Uh walao so easy still need me to explain..
Legend: Shaddup don't make excuses
SK: You see ah.. *buys more time* The difference is the square at the centre right, but now it's a zhe hen. Last time the car square square noob noob but now there's a need for speed. It's a STREAMLINE revolution. That's why now the (车) word looks like that.
- Legend couldn't resist but laugh, and at this point SK was so into the mood of "Chinese with SK" he decided to form beautiful alphabets. Below is the list that was born from this session -

B - 阵 (the left side)

Legend: Why B is like that one?!
SK: Orh cos last time people couldn't think of anything else so they decided to use their right ear
Legend: *finds a loophole* Then why they didn't use their left ear?
SK: Uhh..
SK: Hmm..
SK: *thinks*
SK: By Convention.
Legend: *not convinced* So how do you get the left ear?
SK: zzz you like left ear so much.. uh.. *flips the FOC tissue*
SK: there.. that's your left ear..
Legend: Why are the letters not standardized..? Some big some small leh.
SK: Uhh..
SK: Hmm..
SK: *thinks*
SK: Variation.
- Legend was left with half-life after that marvelous counter-attack, and decides to deal one final blow -
Legend: Okay why sunlight is (阳)? Isn't that like B+E?
SK: *wah good move*
SK: Cos people Hear last time that it was very Hot, and hence concluded that it was the sun
- A defeated Legend marches back home and ponders why she lost -
Lol the humour is much reduced in black and white, but I really laughed till my stomach ached everywhere. Cheers!
